Requirement
The seal support system is designed to suit the mechanical seal and the process conditions. This system supplies either a gas or a liquid to the mechanical seal to protect it from damage.

- Lubrication and cooling of the sealing surfaces
- Flushing of the seal from impurities and/or residues
- Control of pressure and temperature in the seal/sealing chamber
- Prevention of product leakage into the atmosphere
- Working with assembly kits (Seal Plan Kits) and assemblies (Seal Plan Assemblies) according to API standard plans

Construction according to API 682 standard (API 682: Pumps - Shaft Sealing Systems for Centrifugal and Rotary Pumps)
- Material: stainless steel
- Seals: from Viton - Kalrez (application specific)
- Design pressure: up to 450 bar
- Design temperature: up to 450°C
- Typical OD: 12mm - 20mm or 1/2 inch - 3/4 inch (others available on request)
